PAULY IS NOW OFFERING VIRTUAL TRAINING. I was desperate for help with my big rescue dog who was rather out-of-control. I also have 2 untrained small dogs. I contacted Pauly because of his excellent reviews and discovered that he is now doing virtual training. I learned so much in my first session and immediately saw a difference in my big dog. My wife and I were in ABQ for 6 months and desperately needed dog training for our French Bulldog and our Boxer mix. Our larger dog, the boxer mix, had issues with seeing other dogs while on leash and our smaller dog had anxiety issues. Pauly is a true pro in every way. Prompt, knowledgeable and incredibly thoughtful about approach. It is not a one size fits all mentality and his forward, long term thinking towards our dogs behavioral issues was invaluable. Pauly has been amazing with helping to train our 2 dachshunds. While we were able to teach them a few basic commands, our COVID puppies were very reactive. Pauly comes to our house for training sessions. After a terrible experience having family over for Thanksgiving where both dogs would not stop barking at everyone for any reason- stranger danger- we knew we needed help. Pauly came over for an evaluation of our dogs. We are very impressed on how his methods have helped transform us and the dogs. We have dachshunds so we know they are going to bark on occasion, but someone they don't know can come over and sit on our couch without the bark squad at their feet now. The leash tips and countless other tidbits have helped keep our fur babies safe. Really happy with the training we have with Pauly and highly recommend if you are needing help with your furry friend.

We adopted a Goldendoodle puppy and I spent a lot of time reading all the books on how to train your dog, but it was a total flop. I am not a first time dog owner, I'd like to add. Since the research and reading didn't do much good, it was time to seek some professional help. As a big fan of Yelp myseld, I always check here first for who I should try because word of mouth has proven to be best with most things. Thankfully Yelp didn't let me or my puppy down! Pauly is an awesome trainer who clearly knows what he is doing. He traveled to my house and listened carefully to the issues we were having to help me quickly problem solve how to fix them. It was amazing how much of a difference it made just meeting with Pauly once. He gave me perspective of how I was interacting with the dog and what I needed to do differently to help my dog change her behavior. Pauly is an awesome trainer - we learned so much from him. We initially tried to train our dogs using tips from youtube which worked okay, but nothing was a 100% solution and we still had issues with our dogs. Hiring Pauly changed that. He showed us that he's really training us, not the dogs. After his help, our puppies learned how to walk, not fight over food, potty outside, and obey our training. He's very approachable, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding with our questions. Life is a lot less stressful now. Thanks Pauly!

Pauly is an excellent trainer! My dogs love him and he has helped the transition so much from 2 rescue dogs with lots of fear & reactivity issues to 2 dogs who get along beautifully in the same pack. He has a very calm energy which both my dogs (both very different in temperament & training style) respond to immediately. He makes an effort to be available for clients - he was willing to be "on call" for our dogs when we put them in daycare in case any issues arose, and he was even super responsive on Thanksgiving day (!) when we first brought home our 2nd dog. Could not recommend enough!

In just 2 sessions Paul was able to assess my puppy's anxiety and give me multiple techniques to calm him down. I moved shortly after I hired Paul and he completely accommodated my schedule. He was generous with his time and we had many phone sessions after I moved. I highly recommend Paul for any training needs you might have. He is honest, kind, and most important of all - great with animals!

The training and care that Rigby and I received from Pauly was fantastic. Rigby was having some leash aggression and anxiety issues in loud/ public places. In 5 sessions Pauly was able to diagnose the causal factors, prescribe training/ techniques to combat the issues and then practice them each session with me. Rigby's walk/ obedience of basic commands improved after each session and with the tools I acquired from Pauly, he will continue to improve everyday, even beyond the sessions. Ultimately it takes commitment from the owner to affect your dog's behavior but Pauly offers a great service and extensive knowledge to get you there, all at a very competitive price!

Pauly has been a life saver in training our puppy! We started working with him right away when we brought our standard poodle home and had the opportunity to learn how to correctly train and work with our dog right from the start. Because of Pauly, our puppy has learned so much! He had separation anxiety at first and from our first session with Pauly he effectively taught us how to cure that and he has had no issues since! Now our dog is well mannered, knows a big variety of commands, and we have felt supported and empowered as dog owners! Pauly is always available for any questions that arise and we have a lot of them! He is knowledgeable and has a real talent and way of communicating with dogs. He even teaches my children how to train our puppy and he is training our dog to eventually be a service dog for my daughter. We will continue working with Pauly as our puppy grows and he will be our go to for any issues that may arise!

Pauly has been extremely helpful and accommodating to me and my dog Indy. I do doggy day care with him because I work very strange hours and he has gone out of his way to make sure Indy has been taken care of and looked after at all times. They do work sessions and go on walks and he gives him a lot of quality attention rather than him just being locked in a kennle all day. If I'm working late he even goes out of his way to drop the pup off at home for me. Pauly isn't just a guy who likes dogs and will walk them for you, he understands dogs and has studied their behavior and the science behind them, he wants your dog to be the best it can be and wants the owner to feel comfortable that their animal is in good hands. I highly Recommend him for all of your needs from simple walks to training sessions.

Pauly is legit good at dog training. We worked with Pauly for our dog, Milhouse. Milhouse had some issues barking at the door, nipping at feet, and being overly aggressive when encountering other dogs on the street while on leash. During the consultation, Pauly noticed Milhouse's body language indicated anxiety that he was overcompensating for by being aggressive. His diagnosis was to work on structure with Milhouse with things like "stay", "come", "lay down" and "heel". Training with Pauly is 90% for you to learn how to train your dog long term, so you will get out of it what you put into it. We worked with Pauly for 6 sessions for around 1-2hrs each and during his Sunday McCarran Park hours. In the next few months, after Milhouse gets more accustomed to the beginner training, we will absolutely be working with Pauly for advanced work! Call Pauly!
